Heinz Mack is one of the co-founders of the internationally renowned ZERO group. Over the past 60 years, he has created an incomparable body of work which – alongside his kinetic works from the early 1960s – encompasses painting, sculpture, light installations and sculptural art.

The film follows Mack over three decades as he works in his studio, the metalworking workshop, the art smithy and whilst painting.
